This is a 1971 Gibson Flying V Medallion Vintage Electric Guitar. Medallion #122 of about 353 built. It has the original cherry finish, original pots, and It had changed pickups at one time with a coil splitting switch, now has the correct T-Top Patent Number Sticker pickups. It had changed Grover tuning keys at one time, it now has the correct double line Kulson tuning keys, which by the way are in amazing condition, very tight and holds tune great! At one time someone had put a Gibson mother of pearl inlay on the face of the headstock and changed the truss rod cover. I had the face of the headstock repainted back to black to cover the logo and installed a reissue truss rod cover. The tune-o-matic bridge looks to be correct for this guitar and previous owner did some grinding on the bottom side of the bridge, don't know why, wasn't needed. I am not sure if the stop tailpiece is original to the guitar becasue there atr holes from a Maestro tremolo that was previously on the guitar. This guitar is very loud acoustically so it has great vintage tine! Comes with original case with Medallion on it.
